A Mirror is where a valued typed into one attribute is mirrored in another attribute.
For Example:
If you set an Attribute Mirror between Photo Ref and Photo File Name. As you type in the Photo Reference Text box the same characters display in the Photo File Name text box.
This would then mean that you only have to add the extension (.jpg) to the Photo File Name to ensure that there is a link between the results, and thus it would be easy to find which reference each photo file refers to.
Master Attribute
This is the choice made from an attribute that will be mirrored into another attribute (Slave)
Slave Attribute
This is the Attribute that will Mirror the value chosen in the Master Attribute
Adding Mirror Headings
1. Use the Data Automation menu
2. Select Mirrors
3. Click the Add button
4. In Select a Mirror choose the Component and Attribute that will Mirror an automation
E.G. INSPECTION-Material
COMPONENT shows in capitals
Attribute shows in Title Case
5. Click the Add button
The Mirror is added to the list
6. Now add settings for the Heading

1. Double-Click the Mirror Heading
2. Choose a Master Option
E.G. Vinyl
3. Choose a Slave Attribute
E.G. INSPECTION Product Type
COMPONENT shows in capitals
Attribute shows in Title Case
4. Choose a Slave Option
E.G. Asbestos Reinforced Composites
5. Click Update
Editing a Mirror Setting
1. Select the Mirror setting
2. Use the Edit Menu
3. Change as appropriate
4. Click Update
Removing Mirror Headings
1. Use the Data Automation menu
2. Select Mirrors
3. Select the Mirror to remove
4. Click the Remove button
Repeat until all required Mirrors are removed from the main list

3. Select the Mirror to remove
4. Click the Remove button
Repeat until all required Mirrors are removed from the main list
