AWT – Property Search – For Newly Built Properties with no asbestos materials

Introduction:
In AWT, when user searches for properties the returned result has a column “LAST SURVEY DATE”. It shows:
latest Inspection date – if the Property is inspected

or

‘Not surveyed’ – if the Property is not surveyed.

There is a requirement to have a 3rd state for a property that is newly built (after 1999) and does not require a survey at all.

This has been implemented by modifying the two stored procedures related to AWT’s property search feature and by updating column ‘strSecurity1’ in table ‘tblProperty’ with the value ‘1’.

So for Properties which clients like to distinguish as asbestos-free and no survey required, update it’s strsecurity1 column to ‘1’.

To avail it, the AMS database has to be version 7.8.0.17 or higher., and AWT has to be 8.x.x.
