Before going into the Client Server Deployment, we need to first establish the folder structure. Below, the current folder structure for the PSI2000 applications is detailed:

  1. Path for the main client folder

Inside the main client folder, there should be the following:

  1. Live folder – This folder should only be used when the deployment is for the live setup of the client
  2. Pilot folder – This folder should be used for deploying the application for app demonstration purposes
  3. Test folder – This folder should be used for deploying the application for testing purposes

For this example, I will use the Test folder. Inside the Test folder, there should be the following:

  1. Attachment folder – This folder should be used for all the attachments such as photos, drawings, reports and data
  2. AWT folder – This folder should be used for deploying the AWT (Asbestos Web Tracker) application
  3. JMS folder – This folder should be used for deploying the JMS (Job Management System) application
  4. Service folder – This folder should be used for the DIEU service and Report Generator service
  5. WCF folder – This folder should be used for deploying the AWT (Windows Communication Foundation) application

Inside the Attachment folder, we should have the following:

  1. Certificate folder – This folder should be used for storing certificates
  2. Data folder – This folder should be used to store the data coming from JMS. Data path in JMS should point to this folder.
  3. Drawing folder – This folder should be used for storing drawings
  4. Photo folder – This folder should be used for storing photos
  5. Report folder – This folder should be used for storing reports
