The autodialer device has no line. (GSR as Gateway)
1º- Check the GSR coverage.
2º- Confirm that the GSR is correctly configured.
- The GSR must be updated to its latest version of Software and Firmware and set to Gateway mode.
- To ensure the GSR is configured in gateway mode and not in autodialer mode, it is recommended to send an SMS to configure the GSR as a Gateway:
SMS: PinCode,c:wmgsm , the GSR will reply with an SMS with the text ‘[OK]’ if the configuration was successful.
Default: 12345,c:wmgsm
- Send an SMS to query the 3G module: PinCode,g:3g.autostart, the GSR will reply with an SMS with the text ‘[true]’ if the 3G module is active or ‘[false]’ if the 3G module is not activated. Default: 12345,g:3g.autostart
- If the 3G module query returns false, send an SMS to restart the 3G module:
SMS: PinCode,mr:3g
Default: 12345,mr:3g
3º- Check the telephone line output voltage.
- Measure the output voltage between the two pins 1 and 2 on the GSR with a multimeter. The correct voltage without anything connected is 48V DC.
4º- Verify that the telephone line wires are correctly connected to the GSR.
- Check that the wires are correctly connected and in the right connector.
5º- Connect an analog telephone to the GSR and verify if it can make a manual call.
- Connect an analog telephone using two wires directly to the telephone line output of the GSR and check if there is a line and if outgoing and incoming calls can be made.
6º- GSR without telephone line output.
- If there is no voltage at the phone output or if incoming and outgoing calls cannot be made with a analog telephone, contact Support for replacement the GSR.
