GSR has 4 LEDs for showing events and status to the user:

2.1.2.1. Power LED (
). GSR On/Off Status
Shows if the device is powered ON or OFF.
| Device off | Device on |
|---|---|
| Led off | green Led |
2.1.2.2. Signal bar LEDs (
). Type of Registered Network
Displays the current mobile network state. Colour depends on the net type to which is connected, and the led blinking indicates ongoing call or sms.
| No Network | 2G Network | 2G Ongoing Call/SMS | 3G/4G Network | 3G/4G Ongoing Call/SMS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
2.1.2.3. Cloud LED (
). NAYAR Services (VPN) Connection Status
The cloud LED indicates the GSR’s connection status to NAYAR services via the NAYAR VPN network. A blinking light indicates data transmission through the VPN.
| No Nayar VPN connectivity | Nayar VPN Connectivity OK | Data transmission in progress |
|---|---|---|
2.1.2.4. Battery LED (
)
Displays battery level, with the following logic (versions 1.15.3 ans above):
- With a battery charge percentage above 10%, the battery LED will turn off.
- If the charge percentage is between 5% and 10%, the battery LED will blink.
- If the charge percentage is below 5%, the battery LED will remain solid red, and the GSR will enter power-saving mode. It will become unavailable to the user, as it suspends its standard functions and only maintains essential operations to remain powered on.
| Battery level below 5% | Battery level between 5% and 10% | Optimal battery level |

| solid red Led | Blinking red Led | Led off |
2.1.2.5. GSR with internal process ongoing
During the execution of an active internal process by the GSR unit, including but not limited to a software update or a device restart, the three LED indicators (Signal, Cloud, and Battery) will blink intermittently, without a requirement for simultaneous flashing. The unit will be non-operational during this process.
