Product Family

Product Family: Living Future recognizes that individual products in a product family may have minor differences in size, component ratio, color, or other minor aspects that affect ingredient composition, and yet essentially these products all share the same manufacturing, intended design, use, and positioning in the marketplace.

Requirements:

• Product families will have ingredient compositions with percent deltas less than 20, unless a rationale for product component variation in size and aspect ratio is approved by Living Future. (requires additional approval per Ingredient Percentages section)
• All other information on the Declare label except Final Assembly Location is consistent across all listed products, including End-of-Life options, Responsible Sourcing, and Healthy Interior Performance compliance. Indications for Embodied Carbon and other product attributes must be represented by appropriate range or worst-case-scenario reporting.
  

Example: T-shirts that are made from the same fibers, available in various sizes and in short or long-sleeved options, sold under the same brand and product family name specification, and made with the same manufacturing processes would likely qualify.
