Sources: from the web to Cikisi

The first step in any monitoring project is to define a set of sources that interest you.

*A “source” can be a page or website, a Twitter account, YouTube, etc. Pretty much anything you find interesting to “monitor” because relevant information is published there regularly.

Some examples:

• Le Figaro
• The Digital Factory
• Nestlé’s “press release” page
• European Commission publications
• Elon Musk’s twitter account
• A patent database
• …

!It would take you a lot of time to go to these pages every day and check if new content has been posted there. This is where Cikisi will allow you to save time. In this first step, we will put these pages under automatic monitoring.

Our robots (called “crawlers” or “scrappers”) will automatically recreate and bring all new publications on the platform, every hour.

This is how Cikisi will allow you to follow thousands of relevant sources simultaneously and keep you informed of everything that happens in your sector.

Cikisi provides you with its sources library powered by its user community. These include several hundred thousand pages/websites and hundreds of millions of archived publications.

Use this library for free to discover new sources of relevant information.
