3.5.4. Create articles from an Excel doc

*It is also possible to add a list of articles on the platform from an Excel doc.

These files are generally exportable from paid databases of patents, calls for tenders, another monitoring platform, etc.

Here is an example:

How to do it?

• Click on the “My imported items” collection (not on the “+”)
• At the top left, click on the “X” logo

• Click on “choose a file*” and select yours *from your computer.
• Make the “mapping” of the different fields of your Excel to the corresponding fields on Cikisi.

In the previous example, we will start at line 2 (line 1 includes the column headings)

• Column A shows the titles of the articles
• Column B for authors, etc.
  

Once the mapping is complete, select a collection in which to store future articles.
Click on “Import items” at the bottom of the screen.
