What is the Readers’ Portal?

The Readers portal (RP) is a platform in its own right, separated from the classic Cikisi platform that analysts, explorers and administrators are used to.

If we pay attention to URLs:

• wmt.cikisi.com: This is the monitoring platform, containing all the configuration tools for your monitoring project (sources, theme filters, configuration of newsletters, etc. .)

• readersportal.online is hosted on a different URL.

The two applications are separate, but communicate with each other.

The WMT platform is built by and for Web Intelligence specialists and market analysts.

Not everyone needs the tool to set up a scrapping bot or an advanced search. Some just want to consume the information.

It is to fulfil this mission that we have created a simplified version of Cikisi, facilitating the consumption of information and sharing.

Three shareable contents

1. collections and their articles (called here “topics”)
2. alerts
3. newsletters
4. walls
   

They will therefore be able to explore your collections and manage their subscriptions to your available alerts/newsletters.
