3.1.1. Collections fed by MILA

First create a simple collection:

1. Left menu “collections”
2. Top left “create a collection”
   

You see at the very bottom of the collection creation form that there is the option “Mila can help us to add items to this collection”.

This option allows Mila, our AI, to analyse the items you have placed in this collection.

She will put her “machine learning” algorithm to work to identify the common logic behind this set of articles.

She will+suggest you on a regular basis *articles in blue. Yours will remain white.

You can then give Mila “feedback” by telling her which articles you identify as “noise”.

It will then recalculate its algorithm to eliminate this type of content.

You also have the “remove from collection” button to remove an item (without giving Mila a feedback).

!Mila and its machine learning need a certain number of articles to understand your information needs. Place at least 75 items in your collection to give it the necessary materials. Below that threshold, it may have trouble understanding your expectations.

*Tip: First set Mila to “very close” with a simplified request (query), then enlarge it to “fairly close” then to “slightly distant” when you are satisfied with the result.

*Keep an eye on Mila, especially during the first weeks and continue to report articles that you do not consider interesting (report noise)
