How ​​do I find a particular source?

You will find a search bar at the top of the screen.

Simple search

Simply type words in this bar and then press the “enter” key on the keyboard.
The sources having your word their “name” field will appear.

advanced search

Much more accurate than the previous method.

Expand the search menu completely by clicking on the arrow icon to its right.

First choose the *+list of sources+ you want to query:*

  • Only mine: sources that you have inserted personally
  • Client: the sources of your platform
  • Cikisi: the sources of the community library
  • All: the three listed above mixed (your sources + our sources)

Then start your search using one or more filters:

  1. Domain name: Type a part of the URL of the site you are looking for. Ex. “nyt” > www.nytimes.com/international, www.rss.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/Business or even samnytt.se/feed/
  2. Keywords: Search by keywords in source names
  3. Categories: filter by category, those of your platform or the community ones
  4. Types of sources: RSS feeds, crawlers, twitter account, etc.
  5. Languages ​​and countries: This only works for sources whose creators have filled in the language or country fields in their identity card (see previous point)

Here are some categories of the community:

  • business consulting audit
  • environment ecology climate
  • health medicine medical
  • industry aerospace aeronautics
  • industry biotechnology
  • it digital cloud

Type the first letters of your industry in English. Ex. “energy” and you will find the category “industry energy electricity”.
