The SmartMonitor SHIP L and SHIP M are equipped with a range of geographical positioning technologies. For details, please see the technical specification.

The SmartMonitor automatically will choose the technology with the most accurate position of the device.

Please be aware that for the best performance of satellite-based GNSS technologies in the SmartMonitor, a good sky view is required. This means packaging and warehouse environments can limit the function of GNSS technology.

Please be aware that the geographical position of the SmartMonitor is only communicated at the time of synchronization interval.
