Akkadian Universal Updater allows updates to be applied to multiple applications at the same time using update bundles. The tool will auto-detect the installed applications and allow upgrades to all the applications in a seamless manner.
Upgrading Console Server using Universal Updater with Internet Connection
To upgrade the Console Server using Universal Updater (Version 5.x.x+):
- Log in as Console Server Admin
- Select Licensing & Upgrade from the Sidebar
- Click on Upgrade option
- If an update is available, simply click the Update button.
Here, you can upgrade the product by clicking link on “upgrade now” button or upgrade the file in the Manual Update section.
Upgrading Console Server using Universal Updater without Internet Connection
If the system is not internet connected while performing the upgrade, repeat the steps above.
Here, you can download the file from the “Download” button. Next, use the “Manual Upload” section to upload the downloaded file.
Important:
- To upgrade Console Server prior to 4.9.5, the upgrade can be run using Single Packages – Until 4.9.5
- To upgrade Console Server prior to Version 5.1.1, the upgrade can be run using Single Packages – Unti 4.9.5 to 5.x.x
- To upgrade Console Server from to Version 5.x.x +, the upgrade can be run by the Universal Updater.
