Upgrading from 4.9.2 to 5.x.x or latest version

INTRODUCTION

FOR CLIENTS IN 4.9.2 VERSION (USING INTERNET CONNECTION)

Please follow and apply the following instructions carefully:

1. Update to 4.9.3
   

   a. To update to 4.9.3, download and install CLI 4.2.0.587. -> Download link
   b. Upgrade server and web to 4.9.3. -> Download link
   c. Reboot the server.

2. Update CLI 4.6.0.894 -> Download link
3. Restart CLI.
4. Go to HTTPS://SERVER_IP/UPDATE and wait for 30 seconds.
5. Here, you can either upgrade to the latest version or upgrade to any particular 5.x.x version preferred.
   

   a. To upgrade to the latest version, click on “UPGRADE VERSION”
   b. To upgrade to 5.x.x version of choice, upgrade using selected Akkadian Universal Updater (AUU) package. For more details on this, please see Upgrading using Akkadian Universal Updater

6. Reboot the server once upgrade process is complete.

FOR CLIENTS IN 4.9.2 VERSION (WITHOUT INTERNET CONNECTION)

Deploy a new OVA if not please contact Customer Support.
