Upgrade using OVA

If you are installing aco server for first time, you will need to deploy a new ova, please refer to: “

There are scenarios where It is easier to deploy a new ova instead installing single packages. An example could be if you are using a really old version of the product.
For those scenarios a deploy is required/suggested.

In order to achieve this in a smoothly way, please follow the next steps:

• take backup of data in old ova
• deploy the new ova
• ensure the new ova is up and running
• restore the db you took in 1
• restart aco-server service and tomcat service

!A restart of aco-server and tomcat is mandatory!!!!!

*you can use this kind of installation if for example you don’t have Internet access.
