Configuring the SSO using Okta

SSO enable user to login using single sing-on ID. Console server supports all SAML 2.0 based implementation provided by different IDPs like OKTA, Mircrosoft and ADFS etc, to configure SSO for web Console please follow following steps.

Step 1:
Logon to your console server as Admin, click on “Identity & Access” and select SSO. Make sure last 4 fields on the form are populated

  1. SP Entity ID
  2. SP Metadata URL
  3. SP Assertion Consumer URL
  4. SSP Single Logout URL

Step 2: Configuring Okta Application and SAML.

  1. Login as Admin to your Okta account.
  2. Go to Applications Tab.
  3. Create New Application.
  4. Configure SAML Settings.

  5. Upload Certificate.
  1. Create Operators/Users



  1. Make sure rest of the fields looks as follows and click Next.

Step 2: Configuring Console Server with Okta information.

  1. Log back in to your console server admin portal
  2. click on “Identity & Access” and select SSO.
  3. Copy the following fields from Okta Application to Akkadian Console Server.
