Disciplinary Actions

Disciplinary actions are determined by the Chief Academic Officer or designee after review of the alleged misconduct:

  1. Removal of the charges against the student.
  2. Admonition: An oral or written statement to a student that he/she is violating or has violated Institute rules and may be subject to more severe disciplinary action.
  3. Restitution: Reimbursement for damage to or misappropriation of property. This may take the form of appropriate service or other compensation.
  4. Disciplinary dismissal from the Institute: Termination of student status for an indefinite period. The conditions of the readmission, if any, will be stated in the order of dismissal.

No refunds will be issued and the record of disciplinary action becomes part of the student’s permanent record and will be accompanied by a transcript remark.
