The LINKbridge contains a built in accelerometer and gyroscope that is a capable of logging the movement of your vessel and recording any impacts that may occur.
This feature has been designed to be self-calibrating. When the LINKbridge is first powered, it will reset the X, Y, & Z axis to the “home” position. If the LINKbridge was moved whilst being powered or has been fitted in a different location, the “home” position will be incorrect.
In order to recalibrate this to the true position, you first need to make sure that the LINKbridge is installed in its final position. Once mounted in the final position access LINKlocal my visiting http://mylink.local, select the Tools & Diagnostics tab and click the Recalibrate Gyro button. Alternatively, turn the power off on the LINKbridge, wait 20 seconds, then turn the power back on. The LINKbridge will then recalibrate for the new position.
