1. Simple Devices : These screens show easy to use, real-world representations of data that has been received, alongside providing what is shown on other LINK user interfaces (touchscreen, mobile App, MFD)
  2. Advanced Devices : These screens show device and property data as it comes in on the various system buses (CAN, NMEA2K, NMEA0183 etc). They are typically a collection of received PGN messages. These screens would typically be used by a technical engineer as the data available is at a much more granular level.
  3. Device Property Groups : This screen is used to group device properties into a meaningful groups. Because of the way vessels are often wired information from one real-world device (e.g. a generator) may be collected through several different devices, or multiple similar devices (e.g tanks, bilges….) will be shown as separate devices on the Advanced Devices screen.
