Personal Property Appraisal File opens on the Account Information tab.
This is where new accounts are created and linked.
Account message will appear in the upper-right of the file. This may include deleted records, appraisal inactive, account/appraisal inactive, pending inactive appraisal, cross-referenced account source, frozen value, homestead amount, and other exemption in the notes.
Record Info
Account: A system assigned number prefixed with the OTC’s County ID Number.
Appr ID: Appraisal ID system generated
Record Status: Shows if account is active, inactive etc…
Appraisal Record: The current appraisal record number and the total appraisal records hooked to the account 1 of 6 etc.
Assessment Info
Source Code: (From assessment file) shows how the property is defined: Business, Individual, Petro, Mobile Home, IOLL etc.
Account Status: (From assessment file) shows whether account is active or inactive
Tax Area: (From assessment file) shows the tax area
Property Class: (From assessment file) determines the OTC classification of the parcel
RE Cross Ref: User can choose real estate to link to the personal property
NACIS Code: Down-arrow in edit mode takes user to NAICSID Table to find correct code
Ownership Info
Name ID and Owner’s Info: (From assessment file) User may copy the contact name, email, and phone to all personal property records with the same name id by selecting Tools – Update Contact Inf.
Location Info
Situs: The physical street address of the property. If the street name is changed the situs records will be changed in all locations. If the street is being used it cannot be deleted.
Parcel ID: A formatted geo-referenced field and the format is set on the County Information Table. This field can be customized to the County’s discretion. (from the assessment file)
Cadastal ID: A user assigned number and its format is defined in the County Information Table. (from the assessment file)
Business Info
Contains Business name, phone, contact name, email, and start/end date. The contact phone and email may be different from owner, these are not editable on this form, as they are part of the name record. Edit by selecting Edit — Edit Name Record. While in edit mode you can bring in the contact email and contact phone number from the name record by selecting the button at the end of the row of data.

Annual Filing Info
Review Code: Drop down menu takes user to Review Code Table choices
Reviewed By: Initials of who reviewed
Review Date: Date reviewed
Filing Date: Date filed
Notice Date: Date notice was sent
Rendered Value: This tracks the rendered value from the tax payer.
Notice Required: Check if a new notice needs to be sent. Note: The notice (Form 926-P) will be a valuation notice NOT change of value notice. This field will automatically clears when user clears penalties and filing dates during the End of Year Procedures.
Valuation
Shows current and Prior year’s valuation.
Total Assessed: Sum assessed plus penalty (if any was applied).
Active or Deleted Record These fields to indicate if the record is active or deleted. This can be used to query active and deleted records. (Using deleted = 0 and deleted = 1 can continue to be used in the view expression.)
