To enter Personal Property Schedule Items from the Personal Property Appraisal file:
CLICK on Schedule Info Tab

CLICK*Edit Button to go into Edit Mode

Adding New Items
CLICK + Button (near the upper right of screen)
Schedule Item Details Box will open

USE Drop-down arrows to find Descriptions

To search for Descriptions
CLICK in description box and start typing what you’re looking for

DOULBLE-CLICK Description to add Item Code
CLICK Audit ID
It will automatically fill in the Description, Life Expectancy and will check the Trend box if item is trending.

Audit ID: add more Item Description
Year Acquired: year item was acquired
Depr Year: if different from the year acquired otherwise the year acquired will act as depreciation year.
Example: On a wind turbine, if motor is replaced, the depreciation year might start over.
Count: how many of that item
5 Year Exempt: check box if item is 5 year exempt
Unit Cost: amount paid for item
Override Default: if checked you have the option to override (only on this record) the OTC recommendations
After checking the box, system will allow user to input override details.

IF SPECIFIC INFO ON THE EQUPIMENT IS AVAILABLE TO ADD, CLICK ON TRACTOR/LINKED INFO TAB TO ADD. IF NOT, SAVE.

CLICK X AND OK to Save

System will ask if you want to add another PP item.
ANSWER yes to add or no to be finished adding
CONTINUE until all items are added

CLICK X to Save

If there is an account message on the file, it will appear in the upper right corner. This will include deleted records, pending inactive appraisal, account/appraisal inactive, and appraisal inactive.

If user is adding item(s) that are five year exempt, there is more to do. Please see the 5 Year Exemptions guidance guidance.
