Here’s how to approve a location that has just been added by staff or submitted by the public:
When you log in, you will see all the “to be reviewed” locations highlighted in yellow. There are two ways to approve: (1) individually, or (2) collectively.
To approve individually, go into the location by clicking on “edit” to the right of the location name, then select the “public/approved” radio button (on the right-hand side of the page), then scroll down the page and hit “done” at the bottom. Repeat as needed.
To approve collectively, check the box to the left of each location you want to approve, then go to the gray Action Bar just above the locations, drop down the menu, select “approve (show public),” then click the little blue arrow in the Action Bar. That will do it.
To search for all recently-uploaded locations, click on “search” (upper nav) while in the location module, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the “to be reviewed” radio button, then hit the “search” button at the bottom of the page. That will return all locations that have recently been submitted.
