Placing files should be sent to archiving when the subsequent renewal has been finalised or lost provided there are no outstanding issues. Account Executives will inform the Appointed Person for Archiving who will be responsible for sending such files to archiving and for entering them onto PSC records.

If there is more than one file for any policy period/claim please explain to the Appointed Person for Archiving. However files involving quotes or indications where cover did not attach (NTU) can be stored in the office for three months and will then be destroyed by the Appointed Person for Archiving. These files must not be sent for archiving.
