It is the responsibility of the Account Executive:

  1. To check that the Slip or other appropriate placing documents are finalised with no outstanding conditions or subjectivities and generally maintain the placing file.
  2. To promptly and accurately prepare Debit Notes and Cover Notes/binders and have them authorised before forwarding them to the Client.
  3. To enter the risk on Websure.
  4. To make certain that the premium is received on the due date, especially if there is a Premium Warranty. However it is the responsibility of the Accounts Department to immediately advise the Account Executive when the premium, and the amount of premium, has been received. If there is a discrepancy in the sum received this must be resolved before paying the market.
  5. To prepare the policy wording for signing by the appropriate policy signing office of the Insurer and carefully check all documents when issued, usually electronically, by Insurers before forwarding to the Client.
  6. To pay the premium to the Insurer.
