In order to continuously provide a better service, myShop is moving to a new Cloud environment. The new Cloud environment has many advantages, including: better protection against potential DDOS attacks, better support of http/2 and important, free HTTPS for all webshops.
The good news is that you don’t have to do anything if you use a CNAME-Record reference to www.mijnwinkelserver.nl for your webshop domain. The migration is fully automatic. This is the case for most webshops.
If you do not use a CNAME-Record reference to www.mijnwinkelserver.nl, but a so-called A-Record reference with one of the IP addresses 178.208.62.89 or 178.208.62.87, then you have to adjust something. The A-Record must then be set to our new IP address: 213.171.152.60.
Attention: if possible, it is better to convert this immediately in a CNAME reference to www.mijnwinkelserver.nl instead of using an IP address A-Record reference.
To adjust your DNS (Domain Name Server) settings, please contact the party where you host your domain name. In most cases you can do this yourself but sometimes only the hosting provider can change this. When you run into difficulties, please let us know, possibly we can help you out. Contact in that case support@myshop.com.
IP Range:
Because we move to a new Cloud, the IP range of our servers also changes. The IP ranges 178.208.62.0/24 and 178.208.61.0/24 will be dropped.
The new IP range will be: 213.171.152.0/24
If there you are checking for our IP numbers, make sure to add the new range before April 11, 2020.
Summarized:
- If you use a CNAME-Record reference to www.mijnwinkel-server.nl for your domain, you don’t have to do anything.
- If you use an A-Record reference, adjust the address to 213.171.152.60.
- If you use an IP control, add the range 213.171.152.0/24 to the control before 11 April 2020.
