The Servers tag screen lists all of the server tags that have been added, system-wide. The Label column lists the tags by name. The Server column indicates the number of servers to which the tag is assigned.

  1. You may click on any row to open the tag window for review or editing.

Sort the List

The arrow icon (available for each column in the list) allows you to sort the list.
  1. To sort the list, first determine the property you want to use for the sort. Available options are Label and Server.
    1. Label: This option will sort the list by tag name.
    2. Server: This option will sort the list by the number of servers to which each tag is assigned.
  2. Click the arrow next to the column heading you want to use for the sort. (Each time you click the icon, the order will switch between ascending and descending.)

Page Navigation

If you have more than 10 tags, page navigation tools will automatically appear at the bottom of the list. These navigation tools will help you move from page to page.

  1. Use the Items per page drop-down list to set the number of tags you want to view per screen. Available selections include 10, 25, and 50.
  2. Refer to the count to determine which tags are listed on the current screen, and how many total server tags are defined.
  3. Use the navigational arrows to move to a different screen. From left to right you can: go to the first page, go to the previous page, go to the next page, and go to the last page.

Edit a Server Tag

  1. To edit a tag, click on any row to open the Edit Server Tag screen.
  2. Make changes as needed, then click the Next button.
  3. When all edits are complete, click the Save button.
  4. The system will indicate if the edit is a success. Click the Close button.

Delete a Server Tag

  1. To delete a tag, simply click the Delete trash can icon at the right end of the tag entry. The Delete Server Tag screen will appear to show you where the tag is currently being used.
  2. If you want to continue with the delete process, click the Delete button.

The system will remove the tag, server by server. This may take a while.

  1. When the process is done, the system will display the result (success or failure) for each server. Click the Close button.
