Open an Orchid Recorder

Orchid Hybrid/Fusion VMS provides easy access to each of the registered Orchid Recorders. This external link is less critical now because the scope of the Servers screen was expanded to include all of the key Orchid Recorder features. However, this link may still be helpful in some situations.

1. To open a server from Orchid Hybrid/Fusion VMS, go to the Servers screen and identify the Orchid Recorder you want to access.
2. Click the External Link icon to the right of the selected server. Orchid Hybrid/Fusion VMS will load the Orchid Recorder which will open to the Sign In screen. Sign in with a username and password for that server. (The Orchid Recorders only allow local sign in; Google and other external credentials cannot be used here.)
3. After signing in, you may work with the Orchid Recorder as needed. (Please refer to the remainder of this section or the Orchid Recorder Administrator Guide as needed.)

*Depending on how your network is configured, your Orchid Hybrid/Fusion VMS server may have access to Orchid Recorders that are not accessible from your web browser — so this link may not always work!
