The Add Camera Tag screen will appear. This screen provides access to all of the existing camera tags, and allows you to add new tags, any of which may be assigned to one or more cameras.

  1. If you want to add a tag, first click into the Camera Tag Name field. A list of existing tags will appear.

  1. If you want to manage an existing tag, click on the tag in the list. (Please note: If you want to edit an existing tag, IPConfigure recommends closing this dialog and selecting the tag from the table.)
  2. To add a new tag, type the new tag name into the Camera Tag Name field.
    1. Then click on the new tag name to confirm it.

  1. If you want to add a value to the selected tag (which will further define the tag), click the expand icon to the right of the Camera Tag Name field.
    1. Then type the value in the Camera Tag Value field.

  1. Now use the lower part of the dialog to select the camera (or cameras) to which you want to apply the selected tag.
  2. If you want to add this tag to all of your cameras, mark the Select all cameras checkbox.
  3. You may expand the servers at the bottom of the screen to review and select your camera (or cameras).
    1. Turn on the Show thumbnails switch to make this search easier.
    2. Mark one or more checkboxes to select your cameras.

  1. You may also use the Search field to find specific cameras. (This is especially helpful when you’re working with a large number of cameras.)
    1. Enter the camera name or a search term into the Search field.
    2. If the desired cameras appear, click the checkboxes to select them.

  1. Once you are done with tag and camera selections, click Next.

This screen displays the tag you have selected, and all of the cameras to which the tag will be applied. Use this screen to review your choices.

  1. If you need to make changes, click the Back button.
  2. When you are done making changes, click the Save button.
  3. The system will indicate if the addition is a success. Click the Close button.
