InspectX project files, configuration layouts and settings can be shared between computers but all of these files need to be IMPORTED into InspectX and cannot be ‘Opened’ by double-clicking the file.

Importing Files into InspectX

Project File (iX.proj)


You can import a project file from the Project Selection Page. Simply click Import a Project or drag the project file into InspectX.

Projects can also be exported by clicking the project and selecting Export to File

Configuration File (iX.conf)


Configuration Files can be imported by dragging the configuration file into InspectX. You can also manually import/export configuration files from within Configuration Mode (Manage > Configurations) and use the Options menu to export.

Settings File (iX.set)


Similarly, Settings Files can be imported by dragging the settings file into InspectX. You can also manually import/export settings files from within the Settinsg page (Manage > Settings) and use the Import/Export menu at the bottom left.
