If you would like to host your own server and make your version of InspectX available over the internet there is an option for that, but it involves allowing internet access to the computer hosting InspectX which can only be adjusted on your home router. With this setup, you and other users could both be working on the same project at the same time from your individual offices/homes or anywhere else with an internet connection.

The instructions for completing this will depend on the brand and options of your home router, but the basic premise is creating a ‘port forward’ of any TCP traffic looking on port :44444 to the computer connected to your network hosting the InspectX database. Whoever has setup your network may be able to help with this.

For access outside your home network you would use your public IP address followed by :44444
