The 3D Viewport controls outputs from Hippotizer’s 3D world; SHAPE
Enable SHAPE
Turns the 3D plugin on and off
- Enable The default. The 3D plugin is rendered
- Disable The 3D plugin does not render. Video is passed through as a simple 2D texture.
Project File
Displays the local project file.
The SHAPE plugin saves a local copy of the project file when the project is saved in the SHAPE editor. Until the project has been saved No Projects available will appear in the Project File list.
Enable Network
Turns network control on.
- Enable The default. SHAPE Applications can connect to and control the 3D plugin over the network.
- Disable SHAPE applications cannot connect to the 3D plugin. The 3D plugin will continue to render a chosen project file without network control.
Leave network Group
Disconnects the local system from the SHAPE network session.
Inputs
Sets the source for the video inputs of SHAPE. By default, Input 1 is set to the Mix patched to SHAPE in Output Manager.
Inputs 2-24 can take any local relay source as an input.
Output Settings
Controls the output properties for the selected SHAPE Viewport
Output Look
Determines how the 3D model is displayed.
- Textured The default. Hides the model and shows only video applied to the model
- Textured and Wireframe Adds the model’s outlines to the video applied.
- Wireframe Shows the outline of the model only
- Solid Displays the faces of the model.
- Solid and Wireframe Displays the faces of the model and the outlines
- Alignment Displays the only the outlines of the model that are visible to the selected camera.
Source
Sets the source, by index, of the projector feeding the selected viewport.
The source index is set in the SHAPE editor.
Automation Controls
There are 12 banks of controls assigned to 12 controllers in the engine SHAPE file.
Enabled
Toggle on the control for SHAPE controller.
Visible
Toggle visibility of SHAPE controller in the engine.
A B Select
Switch which is the active slider.
A B Sliders
Controller value sliders.
Forward Data
The forward data pin can be used to send the controller value changes through to the SHAPE software to visualise the controller value changes in realtime.
