With the ‘Measure height point’ command, a random point whose height should be saved is measured. For example, the height of a doorway. This height can then be transferred to other surfaces in a room.

  • In FlexiCAD3, select the ‘Measure height point’ command from the ‘Flexijet’ ribbon.
  • Aim the Flexijet to the point you want to measure/save and capture the measurement. (You can also select a CAD point from the software.)
  • The height point is now saved.
  • Now, turn the Flexijet in a random position and select the ‘Transfer height point’ command from the submenu (drop-down menu) of the ‘Measure height point’ command. You can also activate it from the box controller using the right trigger. (If the default setting hasn’t been changed.)

  • Now, you are prompted for an additional offset to transfer the height. A positive value moves the point farther upwards, and a negative value moves it down. When you enter 0 and confirm it with the ‘Enter’ key, the Flexijet will adjust itself to the height point that was saved.
