The ‘Connect’ button allows users to connect (fillet) two elements. This tool may be used to connect lines, polylines, and arcs, etc.
Note: Those elements must be on the same plane.

To connect to elements:

  • Select the ‘Connect’ button.
  • Select the first element and the second element. (Click on the area of the element to be connected that you wish to keep).
  • Elemnts will be connected. This funtion runs in a loop so you can continue connecting elemnts.
  • Then press confirm or the “Enter” key to end the command.

Round

The ‘Round’ tool allows you to create a round with a specific radius between two elements.

  • Select the ‘Round’ tool under the connect endpoints button.
  • Imput the desired radius in the window that appears.
  • Select the first element and the second element.
  • A will be connected with the specific radius that you assigned between them. This funtion runs in a loop so you can continue connecting elemnts.
  • Then press confirm or the “Enter” key to end the command.

Chamfer

  • Select the ‘Chamfer’ tool under the connect endpoints button.
  • Select the first element and the second element. (Elements must be connected)
  • Input the desired distance in each direction using the window that appears.
  • Then press confirm or the “Enter” key to end the command.

Connect endpoints of the last single lines

The ‘Connect endpoints of the last single lines’ tool allows you to connect the last lines that you draw/measure in the same way as the Auto-Fillet tool, in the case that you confirmed and didn’t use it.

  • Select the ‘Connect endpoints of the last single lines’ tool under the Connect endpoints button.
  • A message will pop up asking if the first and the last element should be connected.
    • For a Closed Element click yes
    • For an Open Element click No
