User Assignments

User Roles within ActiveControl can be used to assign users to specific Business Tasks (and Projects). At Business Task level, User Roles are typically used to drive two behaviours within ActiveControl:

1. To drive Inbox/Outbox approvers as part of the Rules Engine approvals consumer.
2. To drive the intended audience for custom email notifications.

User Roles and underlying Users are assigned to individual Business Tasks via the ‘User Assignments’ subscreen.

! User Assignments is optional functionality within ActiveControl, and will depend on your own organisation’s implementation of ActiveControl. If unsure if you need to use it, contact your local ActiveControl Administrator.
