When transports are imported via an automated or manual import within ActiveControl, the ActiveControl Import Queue is locked at the start of the process, and then unlocked again at the end. This is done deliberately within ActiveControl to avoid the generally undesirable situation of two different people or processes triggering Imports at the same time.

When an Import Queue is locked, a padlock icon will be indicated against the Import Queue within the Global View. In rare situations, the import lock remains after the process is completed. When this happens, authorised users (Administrators and SAP Basis team within most organisations) can manually remove the lock on the Import Queue via the Global View.

This is done via the Remove Import Lock button at the top of the screen within an Import Queue.
