SAPGUI

ActiveControl screens – most notably the Transport Form and Business Task screens – are presented within the SAPGUI of any ABAP development satellite systems being managed by the product.

These screens are typically triggered at the appropriate point in the development process (either at the point an object is first added to a transport via standard SAP transactions such as SE16, SE38, PFCG etc), or at the point a transport is released via SE01/SE09/SE10.
This is based on local configuration setup performed by your local ActiveControl Administrators.

In the SAPGUI, the Transport Form popup screen will be seen initially. Depending on your organisation’s ActiveControl setup, you will probably also then need to link your Transport Form to a new (or existing) Business Task.

*If you are working on a non-ABAP SAP system (E.g. SAP Portal), you must maintain Transport Forms from within the Web Platform UI. There are no ActiveControl screens within any non-ABAP development systems.

*The Transport Form popup screen is not seen in the SAPGUI when creating a transport via SE09/SE10. Similarly, it is not seen when adding an object manually via SE09/SE10.
