Filters can be used on the Consumer configuration tables in conjunction with Calculated Custom Fields (or indeed any other fields), to limit (filter) the number of Skipping or Approval rules to be evaluated.
This is optional functionality that Basis Technologies does not anticipate needing to be widely used in most ActiveControl-managed SAP environments.
