The current concept for ActiveControl is described earlier in this section, and should be configured by all customers using ActiveControl 7.3.
In older versions of the product, it was also possible to configure screen variants for the Business Task and Transport Form screens using the legacy authorisation configuration. The steps / tables which need to be populated within SAP and the values that are required in order for this functionality to work are as follows:

| 5. | Define ‘objects’ which activities can be assigned to in table /BTI/TE_AUTHTYPE. |
| 6. | Define fields groups to be used for grouping fields in table /BTI/TE_FLDGRPT. See steps 8 & 9 for more detail |
| 7. | Define screen groups to be used for group fields in table /BTI/TE_SCRNGRPT. See step 8 & 9 for more detail. |
