The Infotype Organizational Assignment (0001) contains organizational information such as position type, payroll area, organization unit, and others.
This infotype cannot be skipped.
It consists of the three following sections:
- Enterprise Structure: The CoCode (Company Code), Pers.area (Personnel area), and Cost Ctr (Cost Center) fields default to the value entered for Position in infotype Actions (0000). They cannot be edited in this infotype.
- Personnel Structure:
- TheEE group (Employee group) and EE subgroup (Employee subgroup) field default to the values specified in infotype Actions (0000). They cannot be edited in this infotype.
- The Payroll Area field groups together employees for which payroll is run at the same time and sets the dates for the payroll period. The payroll area defaults to 99 – Non Staff Not Through Payroll for Non-Staff whose payments are not processed through payroll.
- Organizational Plan* displays information pertaining to the employee’s position. The Percentage, Job Key and Org. Unit fields default to values based on the Position selected in the Organizational Management (OM) module. The use of Position is only allowed as an option when creating a Consultant record.
