The Sandbox feature was created to give users the ability to practice the TAD features without affecting real data. Every user is given access to the “TAD Sandbox” Table which is preloaded with 10 sample records. All permissions are still active, so if a user doesn’t have access to click certain buttons on the ribbon, they won’t be able to with the Sandbox table.

Most topics in the user guide use the Sandbox table in the instructions. This allows you to follow along and produce the same results.

Other topics of the user guide work with specific Sandbox Templates. The Templates contain Tables and Reports with specific configurations to demonstrate the topic. Each topic calls out which Template to download in order to follow along.

It is recommended to select the Sandbox Option Profile under Options when working with the Sandbox related topics. That will enable most features so you can see everything available. Make sure to click the Save Options button to save the changes.
