Manage Data screen provides tools for data management such as linking external drives, import export features, backup and restore.

Link external drives

  • Link Dropbox or Google drive as external storage managers. This lets you use your files from Dropbox/Google drive and also import/export files from/to Dropbox/Google drive. It is a good way to transfer data between devices.
  • Link Google fit – lets you use your Google fit account for synchronization. When you enter data in Google fit, Diabetes:M will automatically log this information in your logbook as an exercise. The synchronization is only one way, Diabetes:M cannot write to Google fit.
  • Link FitBit (coming soon) – lets you synchronize your FitBit data with Diabetes:M. Note that data will not be sent to FitBit for now, it will only be received from FitBit
  • Nightscout – you can link your Nightscout site and get all your data to be synchronized with Diabetes:M. At first Diabetes:M synchronizes the data for the last 3 months (it will take 1-2 minutes and you need a registered account+internet connection) and after this it’s being synchronized by a time interval which you can set when activating the synchronization.

Devices

  • Enable Freestyle Libre scan – if your phone has NFC you can scan your Freestyle Libre sensor by enabling this feature. When it’s enable, just turn on your NFC if it’s off, touch your sensor with your phone, let it stay there for 2-3 sec. It should vibrate twice and show you the current glucose level. (more info here: CGM Features)
  • Add bluetooth glucose meters – add a bluetooth glucose meter from our glucose meters list (check out more info here: Bluetooth devices)

Backup/Restore

  • Backup Database – users can select a folder on the SD card or in the main memory, locations on Dropbox or Google Drive to make a backup of the database.
  • Restore Database – users can restore the database from a backup file made with “Backup Database”. This is useful if you want to import your data on another device
  • Clear Old Data – Clears all the data from the database before specified date.
  • Clear All Data – Clears all the data from the database.
  • Backup Settings – backup your personal settings
  • Restore Settings – restore settings backed up with “Backup Settings”. This is useful if you want to import your settings on another device
