Overview
This enhancement builds upon the “Future changes to employment” feature introduced in evergreen 10.0.41 (see details). While the original feature allowed users to schedule future changes to employment calendars, this update extends the functionality to include financial dimensions.
With this enhancement, HR users can now schedule future updates to employee financial dimensions, streamlining processes and ensuring that changes take effect automatically on the specified date.

- Scheduled financial dimension updates: Users can configure and schedule changes to employee financial dimensions for a future date, aligning them with organisational needs.
- Automatic updates via periodic tasks: The same periodic process used to update employment calendars will now also handle financial dimension changes, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.
How it works
- Navigate to the “Employees” screen, select the relevant employee, and go to the “Employment history” section.
- Open the “Date manager” and access the “Future changes” section.
- Schedule financial dimension updates by specifying the desired future date and modifications.
