Ability to store medical information in evergreen

Overview:

A new feature has been introduced to evergreen, providing the capacity to store medical information for employees. This enhancement allows organizations to maintain comprehensive and secure records of their employees’ medical information, ensuring better management of health-related data within the system.

Key Features:

• Medical Information Storage: Organizations can now store detailed medical information for employees, including health conditions, disabilities, occupational health recommendations or adjustments, allergies, and intolerances.
• Secure Data Management: The feature ensures that all medical information is securely stored, complying with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
• Enhanced Employee Records: By integrating medical information into employee records, organizations can better support employee health and safety initiatives.

Configuration:

To enable this feature, navigate to the Feature Management workspace and activate the feature “(evergreen HR) Ability to store employee medical information.”

Each legal entity can control whether their employees can store medical information in the system by adjusting the “Display employee medical information” parameter found in “Human resource parameters.”

How it works:

Human Resources department users can view or edit an employee’s medical information by navigating to the Employees screen and selecting the “Medical information” button. Please note that users need to have the “Human resources manager” role to be able to access this button.

Medical details should be inputted into the “Medical Information” form.

Employees will have the ability to input their own medical information details through the Employee Self Service workspace.

Data Management:

The data entity “Medical information” (LNEmployeeMedicalInfoEntity) facilitates the exporting and importing of employee medical information details for data migration or reporting purposes. Additionally, this entity is accessible as an OData endpoint, enabling seamless integrations.
