3.1.1. Device configuration

The action Configure device allows you to save data of the installation where the Advertisim device is located. By clicking on the icon, you will see the following form:


  • CLIENT REFERENCE: Text with which the device shall be identified. For example Hote/Foyer.
  • RAE: Lift identifier.
  • CE MARKING
  • YEAR OF CONSTRUCTION
  • CUSTOMER REFERENCE: Reference for internal management. For example RF-1235/01
  • ZIP CODE · CITY · COUNTRY
  • LANGUAGE
  • FLOOR NUMBER: In this table, the lift stops must be configured.
  • Elevator floor configuration: Allows reordering of stops after adding them.
  • Display: Indicate the form in which the floor is displayed on the device, as Advertisim supports the display of alphanumeric content. For example PB.
  • Description: Indicate the description of the floor (optional). For example Reception.
  • Voice synthesis: Press the button ( ) if you want to add a voice-over. Then enter in the new box that opens the text to be reproduced by the voice synthesis. For example First floor.
  • Floor image: Clicking on Add plant will add the stop to the Plant List.
  • Once you have entered all the stops in List of plants, click on Save.
  • Repeat this process for each stop you want to add to the List of plants.
  • AUDIO OPTIONS: You can choose to play gongs on each floor, on departure and/or arrival. It shall also be possible to activate ‘Doors opening’, ‘Doors closing’, ‘Going up’ and ‘Going down’ messages and to choose the time when the audible signals shall remain active.
  • TYPE OF BUILDING: You can choose the type of installation where the lift is located between: Hotel / Tourist, Residential, Public body, Office, Shopping centre and Hospital.

  • CONTROLER MANUFACTURER: You can select the manufacturer of the lift manoeuvre from a list.
  • CONTROLER MODEL: You must indicate the controller type of the connection to the controller, e.g. Binary, CAN, etc.

  • WIFI CONFIGURATION: Advertisim devices are designed to work with 3 types of Internet connection: Ethernet, WiFi and 3G. The latest version of Advertisim includes a network manager that allows you to choose the best connection from all the available ones automatically. However, this field can be used to save the SSID and password data of a wifi network.

  • USERS LOGO Y CUSTOM LOGO: The Advertisim device can display a custom logo in the top left corner.

Once you have filled in all the fields, click on the Save button.
