An ActiveControl Administrator is a resource within the customer organisation who can maintain the ActiveControl configuration and is also able to perform all activities within ActiveControl including approvals, imports and test result entry / approval. Within most of Basis Technologies’ customers, the ActiveControl Administrators are typically either Basis resources or Change & Release Managers.
Administration can be defined via the [Administrators] app tile on the ActiveControl Administration screen, or via SAP authorisations. A user with /BTI/TE:STD_ADMIN_AUTHS will be able to maintain the configuration, even if not defined as an Administrator within the app tile.
