ActiveControl Projects are created and maintained by authorised users in the Web Platform, via the Projects app tile.
In most organisations, this will be an ActiveControl Administrator, Change Manager or Project Manager responsibility. Users need Y_TECONF-CREATE to be able to create a Project within ActiveControl.

Projects that are no longer required or finished can be marked as inactive so they no longer appear during the Business Task creation process. Within the ActiveControl Web Platform, this is done by ‘locking’ the Project. The start/end date fields on the project have no impact on whether a Project is locked / inactive, or indeed whether Business Tasks can be associated to it.
