ActiveControl Administrators are the users within the customer organisation that are responsible for the ongoing maintenance and technical configuration of ActiveControl.
Within most of our organisations, these resources are typically either SAP Basis or SAP Change & Release resources.
ActiveControl Administrators are defined in one of two ways:
1. Via ActiveControl role authorisations assigned via SU01
2. Via the Administrator app tile in the Administration screen of the Web Platform
Any user that is assigned as a Administrator via either of the above methods will be able to perform configuration on the Administration screen.
Administrator – assigned via role authorisations.
A user with the below authorisation assignments in SU01 of the ActiveControl Domain Controller will be able to perform the Administration functions within the product:
Administrator – assigned via Administrator app tile
A user can be assigned as an Administrator via the Administrator app time on the Admin screen.
