Check Transport Presence (0068) allows customers with branched transport paths, to easily prevent transport to be deployed beyond a certain control point location in one (configurable) branch if the transport still exists in certain (configurable) locations in other branch(es).
Example use cases:
1) Where a customer undertaking their S/4HANA migration did not want an ECC transport to move beyond the ECC test system until it had already been merged into their new S/4 landscape.
2) Where a customer has multiple parallel QA systems, and does not want to be moved to Production until it has been successfully tested in all the parallel test systems
3) Where a customer has a 1:Many landscapes (ie single development, multiple QA and Production systems) and does not want transports to be moved to any Production systems unless it has passed beyond a certain (configurable) location in all parallel QA and Production branches.
Parameters
Configuration is also required via backend table /BTI/TE_SRC_TARG.
