The System Global Variable pulls data from the provision allowing it to be used as part of the provisioning process. Currently, Provisioning Manager supports Directory Number as a System Global Variable, which allows the provisioned Directory Number to be used in other fields.
To add a System Global Variable:
- Select Global Variables from the System menu.
- On the menu, click Add to create a new Global Variable.
- Select the list from System from the Global Variable type.
- Configure the options as described in the table:

| Directory Number System Global Variable Instances | Number of instances. This is used to support multiple lines. |

| Service Groups | Select the Service Groups to enable System Global Variables |
