To enable High Availability:

  1. Login to the Akkadian Appliance Manager with the akkadianuser account and password (default = akkadianpassword)
  1. Select Option 6 – High Availability.

  1. Select Option 1 – Enable High Availability.

  1. Enter the hostname of the secondary node in fully qualified domain format.
  2. Add additional nodes if required.
  3. Select if you will be using an external load balancer.

URL to check if the system is available:
https://{HOSTNAME OR IP}/pme/index.php/user/login
Expected Response: 200 OK

URL to check if the system is available and determine the active master node:
https://{HOSTNAME OR IP}/ha/master
Expected Response: 200 OK
Body content: STRING MASTER-HOST-NAME

  1. If you are not using an external load balancer, enter the Virtual IP, and Virtual IP Mask.
  2. Enter a Cluster Password and Repeat for confirmation.
  3. Enter “y” to save changes and Enable High Availability.
